SYNOPSIS
Alternative music, punk-rock scene of Novi Sad from the end of 1980s till mid-90s is topic of the movie. It was strong enough and enjoyed support from young urban population to become a music genre of its own, and recognisable in regional terms. People who were key individuals, as well as front-people of most popular bands talk about those times from a 10 year distance. Other context of looking back to those times is that those were times of rule of Slobodan Milosevic and his regime, whome these bands and their fans opposed in every possible way.
DIRECTOR PROFILE
JOVAN ĐERIĆ was born in Novi Sad in 1977, where he still lives. He finished general gimnasium in 1996, and entered Institute for Geography of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Novi Sad. In 1997, during Student Protest, he had his first contact with journalism. In October 2000, he began his studies at the School for Journalism in Novi Sad. In September 2004, he started studying production in audio-visual media at the Arts Academy in Novi Sad.
