SYNOPSIS Hurgar is a minimalist black-and-white cartoon animation, in which the themes of rage, washing-up and social hygiene are developed in an experimental and associative manner.
DIRECTOR PROFILE
	ARNO DE GRIJS (born in 1976 in Alkmaar, The Netherlands) studied animation at the HKU in Hilversum, The Netherlands. His graduate work Hurgar was an autonomous work, which wasn't a regular stream within the study. His work can be enumerated as experimental, in which he uses different styles. As well as hand drawn animations, he is also inspired by computer animation.
