SYNOPSIS

 

At the beginning of the 20th century, Palmira was still a young girl, when her family emigrated to Argentina. In 1934, due to the dictatorship of general Uribaru, they were deported back to Spain, where the Civil War was on its way. Luis Misis tells us an exciting story of his grandmother Palmira Sanjuán, who recorded her testimony before dying.

LUIS MISIS HERRERO (born in 1980 in Segovia, Spain) graduated from sociology at the University of Salamanca in 2005. In 2001, he writes a news article on the 70th anniversary of the Second Republic. In 2002, he started to work on his film Amor Sanjuán, a personal and exciting story of his grandmother Palmira, who died in the same year.
